Step 1: Prepare The Beef Tenderloin
If you bought the beef tenderloin ahead of time and placed it in the freezer or the fridge, you need to thaw it first.

Lay the beef tenderloin on a large sheet of plastic wrap and let it rest, so it gets to room temperature.
